Made as part of a Character Design brief in college.
My typeset rationale:
Helveticat is a heroic superhero who roams the streets at night, replacing badly kerned typography with clean, crisp helvetica. He is energetic but somewhat neutral.
His good work often goes unnoticed and that annoys him.
Legend has it that he was created in a lab in Genoa using DNA from the worlds greatest typographers including one, Massimo Vignelli.
He is not your average cat as you may have noticed. Normal everyday cat things do not occupy his time. His fascination lies in letterspacing and legibility as opposed to balls of string. For this, he is outcast by his fellow cat folk. He does however, enjoy the odd bowl of milk. Yum.
