I'm still trying to find my feet as regards refining some new techniques and styles of mine. I have been subject to a lot of criticism lately, most of which consists of people wanting me to revert back and do more vector based pieces. And though their criticism is greatly appreciated and noted, I really feel that I should try new things as regards my artwork. Needless to say, I had a lot fun in the making of this piece and thats the important thing for me at the end of the day

everything is great man, the only thing i would change is maybe make it a little less sharp where the flowers are. other than that its amazing, good flow, good colour and great blending. keep up the good work!
Thanks a lot! This piece was done some time ago so have I kept exploring.
The eroding effect can be done in many ways. The way I did it in this piece was using the smudge tool. Set the brush to a hard edge and just brush away what you want to materialise.
Experiment with the different settings for different effects!
